The 10 Lesson Self Defense Program™ is designed to prepare you for the worst possible situations. Chances are your assailant will be armed, have intent to harm you and have accomplices. He picks the time and the place. This program takes all the combat-effective methods of the martial arts and condenses them in a program that can be learned easily and applied to any situation imaginable. Each class consists of core power training drills, technical strategy and methods of escape. The course is taught in a rotating curriculum so even if you can't make all of your ten lessons in a row, you will be able to attend the classes you missed. Remember to wear street clothing and bring water, because even though it's not a typical workout, you will work.

Q: Will I Really Become Effective in only 10 Lessons?
A: Yes. The Self Defense Program is designed to do a few things. First, it will give you a realistic set of skills. You will concentrate on only battle-tested methods to develop a self-defense system that will work for you regardless of your skill level or physical ability.

Q: Is there contact or sparring in the course?
A: No. The course is a non-contact, non- sparring program. You will not have to "fight" anyone. But that doesn't mean you'll be hitting the air. In order to develop effective technique, power and confidence, you'll be striking, targets, pads, bags and in some case, training dummies.

Q: Why was the 10 Lesson Self Defense Program™ Program developed?
A: Simple, not everyone wants to enroll in a full blown martial arts program, but they still have the need to protect themselves and become a little safer. So we took the basic set of proven defensive tactics and techniques with the emphasis on escape and survival and condensed it into a format so you could get the most benefit as quickly as possible.

Q: Why 10 Lessons?
A: Well, one hour or one day just doesn't do it. Typically, when you attend a seminar you forget everything you learned in a few days. We found that you will get the most benefit in 10 Lessons spaced over a specific period of time. This way you will be able to absorb and digest this critical information

Q: Who takes the course?
A: Anyone who has a desire to be a little safer and a little more street savvy. We've taught everyone from Executive Professionals, Business Owners, Real Estate Agents, Nurses, Teachers, Local Police, Secret Service Agents, College Students, Stay At Home Moms and even Black Belts.

Q: Can someone take the course more than once?
A: Sure. A large percentage of the people who sign up take it repeatedly. In fact, if you can't practice as often as you would like, we recommend taking refresher courses every 6 to 8 months.

Q: Where did you learn this system?
A: I am a Professional Instructor from the Self Defense Company. I trained under the guidance and teaching of founder Damian Ross. He learned this method from World Renowned Martial Artist and Instructor Carl Cestari. This work is based on the experiences of Mr. Cestari and other World War II Close Combat legends like Dermott "Pat" O' Neill. This method has been used in close quarters combat, espionage and Special Forces operations for the better part of the past century.

Q: World War II, hmm…seems a little out dated?
A: Don't kid yourself. Back then they didn't have GPS satellite observation, infrared night vision and all the other great, life saving technologies we have today. These brave men were fighting an enemy that was as well or in most cases better equipped than they were. And remember, time and technology may change, but the technology of hand-to-hand combat has been the same since the dawn of man.

Do I need any experience to begin?
A: No, even though experienced people seek us out, you don't need any experience. The course is designed to take you from start to finish.

Q: What if I can't make it to 10 Lessons in a row?
A: You don't have to. You have four months (16 weeks) to take your lessons. We keep the classes small (anywhere from 2 to 12 people) this way we can tailor the classes to meet your needs; its real hands on and personalized training.

Q: How do I start?
A: Just contact me to set up your first free lesson. This will allow us to get to know each other better. If it looks god, we can schedule your first free lesson.

Q: FREE first lesson?
A: Yes. The first one is on me. This way we can both be sure this is something you wish to pursue. All you have to do is call me and we'll schedule you for your lesson provided I have space. I have to keep the class sizes small in order to maintain their effectiveness. This allows me to ensure you're learning the proper technique and not developing any bad habits.
